Chalani was Born In Sri Lanka and successfully completed her educational journey at Methodist College , Colombo 3 and higher Education at University of Kelaniya Following the Bachelor of Art Degree. She expanded her knowledge by gaining the Early Childhood , Montessori, preschool and primary education diploma from Liberty Lanka Training Institute Sri Lanka 🇱🇰and NY, USA. She continued her academic career at European International University Paris where she earned her Bachelors of Education. She obtained her TEFL certificate from Europass Teach Academy, Florence Italy.

At the age of 17 while schooling she started her own center with the help of her Father to Teach English for the children of low economic families of Kandana- Uswetakeiyawa Area where she had nearly 100 children participating after school for free English Lessons. That’s the place where she understood her future career. She Trained at two Preschools In Sri Lanka and Then she started her career as a professional teacher at Methodist College, Colombo 03 where she was a past pupil.

After migrating to Italy she started her career as a kindergarten Teacher at Smile Milano English Preschool and then continued to work at Be. School – Vigevano, Scuole FAES Milano and Few years ago she started working as a primary school English teacher at Istituto Orsoline Como.

With the idea and enthusiasm to make a change Specifically in the Sri Lankan community in Italy and to help people achieve their dreams as teachers she started the SMART MINDS INTERNATIONAL Teachers Training & Language Academy in collaboration with Liberty Lanka International Training Institute.
