Born in the beautiful region of Ratnapura, Sri Lanka, I was raised as the only girl in the family with three elder brothers. My parents, Mr. Hector Senarath Paranayapa and Mrs. Nanda Senarath Paranayapa, instilled in me the values of education and dedication from an early age. My journey in education began at the tender age of three at the Montessori school led by Mrs. Surangani Ellawala. I continued my academic journey at Ferguson High School in Ratnapura and later at Mahamaya Girls’ College, Kandy.

I initially began my career as an Accounts & Audit Assistant in the private sector. However, following the birth of my daughter, Lakshi Silva, I transitioned into the field of early childhood education. My husband, Mr. Nishantha Silva, has been a constant source of support throughout my journey. I dedicated myself to studying early childhood development, child psychology, Montessori, and pre-school education both locally and internationally. Over the past 25 years, I have served as a teacher, educator, and trainer for pre-school teachers.

As the Founder and Director of Liberty Lanka International Montessori Pre-Schools & Teacher Training Institute, I am deeply committed to raising educational standards. By managing Montessori schools and pre-schools across the country, hosting live TV programs, and conducting workshops and training sessions, I strive to empower teachers and uplift the community.I take immense pride in the fact that many of the students who have earned diplomas through our institute are now serving as highly skilled educators across the globe. Their achievements continue to inspire me to expand my efforts and shape the future of early childhood education
