Faith is an experienced educator specializing in psychology and special needs education. With a passion for empowering children of all abilities, Faith has spent years working with a diverse range of students, including those with Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and more.
After her secondary education from Methodist College, Colombo, she pursued her higher education with a passion for Psychology. Holding a Master’s in Applied Psychology from Coventry University (UK), a Bachelor of Arts, a Diploma in Child and Educational Psychology, and a Certificate in Early Childhood Education, Faith is dedicated to continuously advancing her expertise. Additional certifications, including Psychological First Aid from Johns Hopkins University, further enhance her ability to provide effective support in challenging educational settings.
With extensive experience teaching and creating tailored curricula for primary to high school-aged students in several leading private and international schools in Sri Lanka, Faith excels in behavior management, triage, and adapting educational methods to meet the unique needs of each child. In addition to her work in the classroom, Faith has contributed to the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children in Sri Lanka as an Educational Therapist, providing therapy and support to children and families.
She joined Smart Minds International as the Secretary and as the Head of the Psychology Department. We are happy to have her in our team.
Outside of work, Faith enjoys reading, gardening, spending time with family, and exploring nature—activities that help recharge her energy and creativity.
